Full Job Description What We Offer:
House Supervisor (RN) Forsyth Medical Center | Winston-Salem, NC Part-Time | 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Position Summary Forsyth Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a House Supervisor. This leadership position provides administrative, operational, and clinical oversight for the hospital during assigned hours, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and efficient hospital operations. The ideal candidate is a confident clinical leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and teamwork.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN/BA/BS) required. Graduate degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Experience Minimum of five (5) years of previous nursing experience required. Previous management experience preferred.
What You'll Do:
Key Responsibilities Provide hospital-wide leadership and administrative oversight during assigned shifts. Collaborate with nursing leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to address operational and clinical needs. Support staffing decisions and resource allocation to ensure quality patient care. Respond to emergencies and critical situations, providing leadership and guidance as needed. Promote patient safety, service excellence, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. Facilitate communication between departments and assist in resolving operational concerns. Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff throughout the facility. Support organizational goals, quality initiatives, and patient experience efforts.
