  • Part-time Prosperity Workforce Solutions is seeking a House Supervisor ( Registered Nurse) for our clinets Behavioral Health Clinic located in Belle Mead, NJ.
Part-time /Onsite PT 20hr/week (12hr shift every other weekend 8a-8p and one 8 hr shift during the week 4-12) PT 20hr/week (12hr shift every other weekend 8a-8p and one 8 hr shift during the week 4-12) PT 28hr/week (12hr shift every other weekend 8a-8p and two 8 hr shift during the week 4-12) Position Summary The House Supervisor provides administrative and clinical leadership during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and efficient hospital operations. This role oversees staffing, patient flow, emergency response, and regulatory compliance while fostering a collaborative, respectful care environment. Key Responsibilities Provide operational and clinical supervision of hospital personnel and patient care activities Deploy staff, supplies, and equipment based on patient and unit needs Round on units and departments to monitor care delivery and address issues Respond to all Codes and Rapid Responses; initiate and manage Incident Command Center until Emergency Management staff arrive Coordinate with department leaders to resolve patient care or operational concerns Support patient flow by prioritizing bed assignments, transfers, and discharges Collaborate with nurse managers, physicians, case managers, ED leadership, infection control, and ancillary departments on patient placement and safety Interpret hospital policies and regulatory requirements for staff, physicians, patients, and visitors Provide mentorship, education, and support to nursing and hospital staff Participate in orientation of new employees and performance improvement initiatives Maintain communication with essential personnel to ensure smooth daily operations Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the administrator Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory standards (including EMTALA, Joint Commission, and Department of Health) Participate in performance evaluations and competency assessments; initiate disciplinary actions in collaboration with leadership Perform clinical support duties as needed Additional responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within three (3) years of hire (applicable to hires after February 2025; Associate-to-MSN programs satisfy requirement) Minimum four (4) years of recent clinical experience Demonstrated leadership ability and independent decision-making skills Knowledge of nursing process, standards of care, and regulatory requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of evidence-based criteria, utilization review, discharge planning, and case management What You'll Bring Clinical excellence and sound judgment Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Commitment to patient safety and service excellence Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
