Job Description

Administrative Assistant / Office Coordinator Finger Lakes Automotive, Marine, and Power Equipment - Skaneateles, NY Part-Time Position Finger Lakes Automotive, Marine, and Power Equipment is a growing local business looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Office Coordinator to join our team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys organization, computers, customer communication, and helping keep a busy business running smoothly. We operate multiple divisions including automotive repair, marine service, power equipment sales, parts, and service. We are looking for someone who can help manage the daily office tasks that keep everything moving.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones and assist customers Respond to emails and online inquiries Enter customer information and maintain records Assist with billing, invoices, and paperwork Help process payments and organize receipts Enter inventory and update product information Assist with website updates and online listings Maintain customer databases and CRM systems Help manage Google business listings and online information Assist with social media posts and marketing Help organize documents, files, and office systems Perform data entry and general administrative tasks
The Ideal Candidate:
Highly organized and detail oriented Comfortable working on computers Able to learn new programs quickly Good written and verbal communication skills Enjoys creating systems and keeping things organized Can work independently without constant supervision Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Helpful Experience:
Experience with any of the following is helpful: Office administration Customer service Data entry QuickBooks or accounting software Website updates Social media management Google Ads or online marketing Inventory management Automotive, equipment, or service businesses Industry knowledge is helpful but not required. Organization, reliability, and willingness to learn are most important.
Schedule:
Part-time position Approximately 20-30 hours per week Monday-Friday schedule Flexible hours available for the right candidate.
Compensation:
