Job Description

Under the direction of the Administrator-Long Term Care, provides daily clerical and administrative support assuring the Administrative office is maintained in a smooth-running, efficient manner. Represents the office to the public in the absence of the Administrator. Provides support to LTC Nursing Management, Activities, and Social Work.
Requirements:
EDUCATION
Preferred:
Two year degree with emphasis in business office practice highly desirable.
Bachelor's Degree LICENSE:
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
WORK
EXPERIENCE
Minimum:
Three years' high level secretarial experience
Preferred:
Prior healthcare experience
SKILLS:
Minimum:
Must be able to type 50-60 WPM Self motivate able to work without close supervision. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Computer literacy required
Preferred:
Knowledge of Long Term Care practices. Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point
