Job Summary Join Our Mission! Part-Time Remote Nonprofit Administrative Coordinator is a vital role dedicated to supporting the smooth operation of our organization's administrative functions. Help improve the lives of individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders. We're seeking an organized, tech-savvy professional to support our programs, events, and members while working primarily from home with occasional in-person events in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans area.
Location:
Remote (Louisiana Residents - Must be able to attend local events in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans area)
Schedule:
Part-Time, 20-25 hours per week (additional hours available during major events)
Pay:
Starting at $20.00 per hour (based on experience) Join Our Mission The Louisiana Hemophilia Foundation (LHF) is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support our mission of improving the lives of individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders. This is primarily a remote position with flexible scheduling; however, applicants must be available to attend local community programs, meetings, and organization events a couple times a month in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans area several times each month, with additional in-person support during larger annual events. If you enjoy organization, helping others, planning events, and working with a mission-driven nonprofit, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Office & Administrative Support Manage emails, phone calls, scheduling, correspondence, and daily administrative tasks. Maintain databases, spreadsheets, files, and organizational records. Coordinate calendars, meetings, and internal communications. Prepare reports, meeting materials, e-newsletters, and organizational documents. Assist with website updates, email marketing, and social media scheduling and posts. Program & Event Coordination Support the planning and execution of the organization's major events Responsibilities include: Managing registrations and attendee records Preparing name badges, signage, and printed materials Coordinating volunteers Maintaining event supplies and inventory Assisting with event setup, registration, participant support, and teardown Transporting event materials when needed Member & Community Support Serve as a friendly and professional point of contact for members, families, healthcare partners, vendors, and volunteers. Respond to inquiries by phone and email. Coordinate communication with clinics and families. Support member outreach and engagement activities. Qualifications We're looking for someone who has: Excellent organizational and time management skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service experience Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace Basic website, email marketing, and social media skills Experience with nonprofit organizations or event planning is a plus Requirements Must reside within driving distance of Baton Rouge, and New Orleans Louisiana. Must have reliable transportation and be able to attend local events several times each month. Ability to lift and transport event materials (up to approximately 30 pounds) is helpful. Evening and occasional weekend availability for events is required.
