Job Description

Inova Fairfax Medical is seeking a dedicated Administrative Coordinator Sr to join the Dept. of Medicine team. This role will manage system level scheduling for physicians.
Schedule:
Full-time, On-site. Monday
  • Friday (8:30am
  • 5pm or 9am

Administrative Coordinator Sr Responsibilities:
Manages calendars, schedules meetings, and coordinates travel arrangements. Prepares correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials. Supports departmental operations, including supply ordering, invoice processing, and timekeeping. Assists with onboarding and training of new staff or temporary personnel. Ensures maintenance of hard copy and computer files; Builds and maintains databases using Access, Excel, and specialized database applications. Supports compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Revises and drafts processes and procedures as needed to support efficient and effective department operations. Processes requisitions, invoices, and expense reports and other budget management and tracking activities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School or GED.
Experience:
Five (5) years' relevant office or healthcare experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
Associates Degree and above Previous experience as an Admin Coordinator or Health system scheduler
