Purpose of Job:
Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by expanding access to quality health and wellness services by overseeing the front desk and administrative support services functions as follows:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides direct supervision, training, orienting, and mentoring to front desk receptionist, courier, and administrative support staff. Assigns duties and work schedules to administrative support staff in collaboration with various departments. Works closely with Administrative Office Manager to establish and meet administrative support staff goals and expectations. Coaches and develops staff to encourage accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement. Serves as a facilitator for smooth flow of information and materials within the department. Identifies continual process improvement, including identification of new tools and mediums to improve results and efficiency. Acts as a liaison and point-of-contact with other departments and functions. Performs essential duties of front office and administrative duties. Maintains confidentiality and professional attitude. Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
High school degree or equivalent required. Minimum of two (2) years related experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.Skills:
Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent time management and organizational skills required. Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Creativity and adaptability required. Strong computer skills required. Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment is required. Valid driver's license and insurance required.Physical Demands:
Required to stand, sit and be mobile up to one-third of the time. Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel over two-thirds of the time; while reaching with hands and arms occurs one-third of the day. Required to read from text and computer screen over two-thirds of the time. Climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching occurs less than one-third of the time. Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day. Lifting occurs about half the time up to 10 lbs. and less than one-third of the day from 25-40 lbs. Rarely is there a need to lift more than 41 lbs.
