Collections Representative Huntsville, AL 35801 From $38,400 a year - Full-time From $38,400 a year - Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Collection Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in collections and a strong understanding of financial concepts. This role requires excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills, as you will be responsible for communicating with clients regarding their accounts. You will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities Manage and collect outstanding debts from clients Communicate effectively with clients via phone to negotiate payment arrangements Utilize dealer management software to track account statuses and update records accurately Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in billing Provide exceptional customer service while addressing client inquiries and concerns Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and company policies throughout the collection process Repossession of past due accounts Develop effective repayment plans, follow-up with clients on overdue accounts Must be able to balance payment report at the end of the shift Processing total loss insurance claims and respond to clients account queries in a timely and professional manner Experience Previous experience in collections is preferred Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to handle difficult conversations professionally Excellent math skills for accurate calculations related to payments and balances Experience in telemarketing or customer service roles is a plus Join our team as a Collection Representative where your skills will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional service while ensuring the financial health of our organization.
