Description Job Summary We are seeking a Collections Specialist to manage outstanding accounts and support the collection of past-due balances. This role will involve communicating with customers, researching account issues, and helping reduce delinquency while maintaining strong professional relationships. The ideal candidate is persistent, customer-focused, and highly organized. This is a 3+ month contract role! Key Responsibilities + Contact customers regarding past-due balances + Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection efforts + Research account discrepancies and payment delays + Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or account issues + Document collection activity and account status updates + Negotiate payment arrangements when appropriate + Support efforts to reduce delinquency and improve cash flow + Prepare reports related to collection activity and account trends Requirements Qualifications + Experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit and collections + Strong communication and negotiation skills + Ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally + Good analytical and problem-solving abilities + Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet software Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
