This role is ideal for someone who communicates well, stays organized, and can handle payment-related conversations with professionalism and confidence. Position Summary As a Collections Representative, you will work with clients who have past-due balances and help bring accounts current. You will be responsible for reviewing account details, contacting clients, discussing payment options, and documenting all activity accurately. This position plays an important role in supporting the company's cash flow while maintaining respectful and professional client relationships. Responsibilities Contact clients regarding outstanding balances by phone, email, and text Review account history and identify reasons for delayed or missed payments Explain balances, payment terms, and next steps clearly and professionally Work with clients to arrange payment plans or resolve overdue accounts Negotiate payment solutions in accordance with company guidelines Record all calls, notes, promises to pay, and payment arrangements in the CRM Follow up consistently to ensure payment commitments are completed Escalate unresolved accounts or difficult situations when necessary Maintain a professional and courteous approach during challenging conversations Meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection goals and performance expectations Qualifications Previous experience in collections, customer service, billing, accounts receivable, or a related role preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable speaking with clients by phone and handling sensitive payment conversations Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing account information Good organizational and time-management skills Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Experience using a CRM, dialer, or collections software is a plus Dependable, coachable, and motivated to meet goals What We Offer Paid training and ongoing support A positive and team-focused work environment Opportunities for advancement and professional growth Paid time off and holidays A fast-paced role where your performance and consistency can make a real impact If you are a driven, detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving and working with people, we encourage you to apply today.
