Location:
Stoughton, MA (100% Onsite)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | Flexible start times (8:00-4:00, 8:30-4:30, or 9:00-5:00)
Compensation:
$24-$25/hour (Direct Hire) A large organization is seeking a Collections Analyst to join its accounting team. This is a newly created position driven by continued company growth and a recent acquisition, offering excellent long-term stability and advancement opportunities. Reporting to the Credit & Collections Manager, you'll join a collaborative team that values training, professional development, and a positive work environment. Responsibilities Monitor customer accounts and identify outstanding balances. Review and release credit hold accounts for new customer orders. Investigate payment history and outstanding invoices. Contact customers to secure timely payment of outstanding receivables. Perform account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies. Research and resolve customer credit issues. Update account status and payment activity within the accounting system. Maintain consistent follow-up to reduce aging receivables. Qualifications At least 1 year of B2B/commercial collections experience. Strong understanding of billing and collections processes. Experience handling a high-volume collections workload (approximately 75-100 outbound collection calls per week). Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
