JOB SUMMARY

As a Collection/Skip Trace Specialist , you will help locate individuals who owe money to a particular business or agency. This position requires a candidate that can multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, have a high level of attention to detail, and make cost-effective decisions in the best interest of the agency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform collection skip-tracing activities in accordance with FDCPA, state and local collection laws to verify consumer information Outbound calls to employers to collect on Wage Garnishments Perform asset verification activities on consumers with unpaid collection accounts Attempt to locate individuals for payment of debt, locate most current address

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 1

year of skip tracing experience preferred Experience in the collections process Have a high level of attention to detail Strong internet navigation skills Competency in Excel Familiarity with ne.gov Justice case search is helpful Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work under time-sensitive deadlines Excellent customer service skills
