Overview:
The Credit Assistant will work with the Credit Analyst's to process and prepare all incoming credit applications for review, demonstrating a sense of urgency and exhibiting the highest levels of professionalism and customer service at all times. Accurate work is essential to establish trust with vendors and internal customers. The person in this position must embody company values: Teamwork, Entrepreneurship, and Customer Focus and be committed to providing a high level of support to internal customers so better enable managers and employees to fulfill TEC Equipment's Customer Commitment - to be recognized by customers as their Best Business Partner.
Responsibilities:
Manage administrative tasks for the team (i.e., incoming and outgoing mail, address changes, invoice copies, answering the phones, filing, other as assigned). Set up all accounts in C.D.K. and Enrich. Responsible for ensuring collection of all information necessary to correctly establish accounts; work with branches as needed to obtain this information. Process and manage all incoming credit applications. Work with customers to ensure minimum information and requirements are met and work with Credit Analysts to provide information necessary to approve or decline credit applications. Send welcome packet or denial to customer and notify branches as needed. Daily Credit Card Reconciliation for the Department. Other support and administrative functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent Minimum two years customer service experience. Proficient with all required computer programs to perform work with high efficiency. Strong attention to detail with ability to identify patterns/trends/problem areas Highly organized with ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy of work Identifies efficiencies and builds them into the process in order to maximize productivity Committed to excellent customer service
