Position Title:
Collections Specialist (B2B)
Location:
Coon Rapids, MN (only local candidates in MN will be considered. Weekly onsite presence required. Hybrid schedule after training)
Compensation:
$25.00 - $35.00 / Per Hour dependent on applicable experience

This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) We're partnering with a growing Twin Cities organization that is looking to add a Collections Specialist to their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building customer relationships while managing a high-volume B2B collections portfolio. In this role, you'll work directly with customers and internal teams to resolve outstanding balances, research payment discrepancies, and help improve cash flow while delivering excellent customer service. What You'll Be Doing Manage a portfolio of B2B customer accounts and perform collections through phone and email outreach. Follow up on past-due invoices while building positive customer relationships. Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, deductions, and billing issues. Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate collection notes and aging information. Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting to resolve account issues and accelerate collections. Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on account status. Support cash application research and other accounts receivable activities as needed. What We're Looking For 2+ years of B2B collections or accounts receivable experience. Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-service mindset. Experience managing aging reports and resolving payment discrepancies. Comfortable working in Excel and ERP/accounting systems. Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
