Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Credit & Collections Specialist to manage outstanding receivables and maintain strong client relationships. This role is responsible for proactively communicating with business customers to resolve past-due balances, investigate billing issues, and develop payment solutions. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of business accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices Contact customers via phone and email regarding overdue balances and payment arrangements Research and resolve billing discrepancies, invoice disputes, and account issues Review aging reports and prioritize accounts for collection efforts Document all account activity, communication, and payment updates in the system Partner with internal departments including billing, customer service, and sales to resolve account concerns Reconcile customer accounts and apply payments accurately Monitor credit limits and identify accounts that may require escalation Negotiate payment plans while maintaining positive client relationships Assist with month-end reporting and accounts receivable analysis Support process improvement initiatives to streamline collections and reduce aging balances Maintain compliance with company policies and collection procedures Qualifications 2+ years of business-to-business collections or accounts receivable experience Experience working in a high-volume environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with ERP, accounting, or CRM systems preferred
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
