The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts in arrears, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring that outstanding debts are collected efficiently and professionally. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of financial services, and the ability to analyze financial data effectively. Responsibilities Contact clients to discuss overdue accounts and negotiate payment arrangements. Utilize financial software to track collections and maintain accurate records of communications. Conduct data collection to assess the financial status of clients and determine repayment capabilities. Prepare financial reports detailing collection activities and account statuses. Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for improving collection rates. Perform quantitative analysis on account data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies during the collection process. Requirements Must pass background check for state licensing Must pass background check to obtain notary license 2 years experience in professional office setting, preferably legal office, court admin, collections office, title company. Proven experience in financial services or a related field is preferred. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with loan origination processes and banking operations is a plus. Proficient in using financial software for data management and reporting. Excellent analytical skills with a focus on financial analysis and report writing. Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts simultaneously. High level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with sensitive financial information.
