Job Description:

This Collections Specialist (AR) role is responsible for managing and resolving high-value commercial receivables while maintaining strong client relationships. The position is highly customer-facing and focused on outreach, negotiation, and issue resolution to drive timely payments and meet performance goals. Qualifications High school diploma required; additional education in finance/accounting preferred 2+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience in an office setting Strong customer service skills and comfort handling frequent phone communication Ability to manage and track large account balances with attention to detail Strong organizational and documentation skills Excel experience (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with systems like Salesforce or Workday preferred Ability to review contracts and understand customer payment terms is a plus Why this role: Hands-on role managing large, complex commercial accounts ($250K-$35M) Strong mix of customer interaction, negotiation, and problem-solving Opportunity to collaborate with internal teams, legal reps, and account executives Metrics-driven environment with clear performance expectations and growth opportunity Exposure to enterprise systems and end-to-end collections processes
