Senior Asset Recovery Specialist -

Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Senior Asset Recovery Specialist in Green Bay to support Schneider's semi-truck leasing business, SFI Trucks and Financing (SFI), by directing all activities related to the repossession and recovery of SFI-owned Class A trucks. The Senior Asset Recovery Specialist will help protect company assets, enhance operational efficiency and support decision-making related to equipment and maintenance within the SFI portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Manage the repossession process to recover SFI assets from clients unwilling or unable to return equipment. Handle multiple asset recoveries at once while escalating high-risk cases and finding custom solutions for complex repossessions. Perform daily deficiency collection functions while developing action plans for significant collection accounts. Manage vendor relationships for asset repossession, asset relocations and deficiency collections. Analyze account payments to spot trends and help collect past-due balances. Handle SFI client bankruptcy cases by engaging with Schneider's legal department. Manage major accident damage repairs by working with shop partners, Schneider Maintenance contacts and insurance providers/adjusters.
Skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Finance or Accounting. 3-5 years of professional work experience preferred. Strong credit analysis skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. Knowledge of trucks, trucking operations or transportation equipment financing is desirable. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
