Troy - T01 Job Summary The Accounts Payable Analyst position assists both the Director of Accounts Payable and the Accounts Payable Coordinator with the activities of the Accounts Payable Department.
Essential Functions:
Audit university travel/miscellaneous reimbursement requests in compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines of the university. Communicates frequently with faculty, staff and outside vendors both verbally and in writing on matters relating to accounts payable transactions; acts a liaison between departments and vendors. Initiate wires/ACH for vendor payments. Provides support and documentation on internal processes for accounts payable as required for audit purposes. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director and/or Coordinator. Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field Preferred Qualifications 1. Master's degree in Accounting Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties?
