Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a CSR/Billing Clerk, where your expertise in accounting and customer service will drive efficient financial operations and exceptional client interactions. You will be a vital part of our team, ensuring excellence in customer service, precise billing, accounts receivable management, and adherence to industry standards. Responsibilities Answer all incoming phone calls and interact with customers to resolve complaints and communicate pricing and billing. Make outgoing calls to communicate changes and keep them informed. Process and verify billing transactions using accounting softwareto ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards. Manage accounts receivable by generating invoices, following up on overdue payments, and reconciling accounts through detailed account analysis. Perform data entry tasks with high precision, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and 10 key typing to support accurate financial reporting. Handle customer inquiries related to billing issues via phone or email with professional phone etiquette and negotiation skills to resolve disputes effectively. Maintain detailed records of revenue cycle activities. Support the accounts payable process by reviewing invoices, processing payments, and ensuring proper documentation for audit purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles within public accounting or corporate finance environments. Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms; Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and revenue cycle management. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to perform account reconciliation and account analysis efficiently. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while maintaining high levels of accuracy in data entry tasks. Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and negotiation abilities to manage client relationships effectively. Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
