ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT

(Current Procedural Terminology), and DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) codes for diagnoses and procedures Ensure all billing information aligns with medical documentation, verifying completeness and accuracy before submission Submit clean claims electronically using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to insurance companies and government agencies Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective medical collection practices to maximize reimbursement Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, insurance policies, and healthcare regulations to ensure compliance Organize and manage medical records efficiently, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation standards are upheld Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses or procedures that require precise coding for billing purposes Requirements Proven experience in medical billing and coding within a healthcare setting; familiarity with medical office operations is preferred Strong knowledge of

ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT
