Billing Specialist OpenTech Alliance - 3.3 Phoenix, AZ Job Details 10 hours ago Qualifications Customer inquiry handling Full Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Specialist to support our accounting and customer operations teams. This role is responsible for managing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting collections efforts to ensure timely and accurate revenue processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams to resolve customer billing issues and improve processes. The Company OpenTech Alliance, Inc. was founded in 2003 and is a leading technology provider to the self storage industry. The company delivers software-enabled solutions including online auctions, access control systems, full-service kiosks, and call center services to self storage operators across North America, with a growing international presence. Headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, OpenTech supports many of the largest self storage operators in the U.S. and continues to scale its core products while strengthening internal operations to support growth. Key Responsibilities Create and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner Maintain and update customer records across NetSuite, VersaPay, and CRM systems Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Apply payments, issue credits, refunds, and necessary billing adjustments Support billing accuracy during customer changes such as terminations or ownership updates Assist with collections efforts and customer account follow-ups Responding to customer inquiries and providing excellent service Analyze accounts receivable aging and identify overdue balances Collaborate with accounting and customer success teams to resolve issues Ensure high standards of data accuracy and compliance with financial processes Some college coursework or bachelor's degree in accounting preferred 3-5 years of relevant accounting or billing experience Experience with NetSuite, VersaPay, or similar systems preferred Strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial record-keeping principles Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Why Join OpenTech?
