Responsibilities Prepare, review, and process utility bills using advanced accounting software . Reconcile accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly. Manage data entry tasks related to customer accounts, payments, adjustments, and account analysis with high accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate with customers via phone or email to address billing inquiries, payment issues, and service requests while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Apply financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping to ensure proper recording of all transactions. Requirements Proven experience in accounting or utility billing roles with familiarity in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliation. Ability to perform detailed data entry and demonstrate analysis skills for account analysis and financial review. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette; ability to negotiate effectively when resolving billing disputes.
