As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Supervisor to lead our billing operations and support our mission. Position Overview The Billing Supervisor will oversee the full billing cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all processes. This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of dental billing (including Medi-Cal & HMO plans), and the ability to collaborate across teams while supporting both staff and patients. What We're Looking For Minimum of 5 years billing experience in a dental practice preferably DSO with $10M+/ yr in collections Hands-on experience with Medi-Cal Dental billing, PEDO & ORTHO claims (mandatory) Strong knowledge of dental insurance billing, coding, and claims processing Experience managing a team of 4 or more billing staff Key Responsibilities Oversee the entire billing process, including insurance verification, claim submission, follow-ups, and payment posting Ensure compliance with all insurance guidelines, billing regulations, and company policies Monitor accounts receivable and implement strategies to improve collections and reduce aging Train, mentor, and manage billing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment Communicate with patients and families regarding billing inquiries and explain financial responsibilities clearly and professionally Collaborate closely with clinical teams to ensure accurate coding, documentation, and claim submission Review and resolve complex billing issues, denials, and discrepancies Generate and analyze billing reports to support leadership decision-making Skills Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record management Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Communication & Leadership Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain billing processes clearly to patients and families Proven ability to lead, support, and develop a team Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with both administrative and clinical teams What We Offer Competitive salary Health benefits Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for career growth within a rapidly expanding organization A supportive, mission-driven environment focused on helping children achieve healthy, happy smiles How to Apply Please submit your resume Be part of a team that makes a difference—one smile at a time!
