Position Overview This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, follow-through, and results. The Dental Billing Specialist will oversee all aspects of billing and collections, ensuring timely payments, clean claims, and a seamless financial experience for patients. Key Responsibilities Billing & Collections (Primary Focus) Submit, track, and follow up on dental insurance claims with speed and accuracy Manage accounts receivable, including consistent follow-up on outstanding balances Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve denials, delays, and discrepancies Ensure accurate patient billing, invoicing, and payment processing Verify insurance benefits and maintain up-to-date patient financial records Team Support & Collaboration Assist the front office team with patient billing questions as needed Provide support during high-volume periods to maintain smooth daily operations Qualifications Proven experience in dental billing, insurance claims, and patient accounts Strong understanding of accounts receivable and collections processes Excellent communication skills with a professional and patient-focused approach High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in accounting or related field is a plus
