The Hospice Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing hospice claims while ensuring compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing regulations. The ideal candidate will have previous hospice billing experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and submit hospice billing claims accurately and timely Handle Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and rejected claims Reconcile accounts and post payments accurately Maintain detailed billing records and documentation Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure billing accuracy Stay current on hospice billing regulations and payer requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of hospice billing experience preferred Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid hospice billing regulations Experience with PointClickCare required Familiarity with billing software and EHR systems Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Why Join Seasons Care Hospice?
