Full-Time (Monday- Thursday 8am-6pm/ Fridays 8am-12pm) Join Our Team! Diversity Health Center is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Billing Clerk to join our growing Revenue Cycle team. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical insurance billing, claims follow-up, payment posting, and working with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. If you enjoy solving claim issues, working with insurance companies, and helping ensure accurate reimbursement for patient services, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Submit and monitor insurance claims for timely reimbursement. Follow up on unpaid, denied, and rejected claims. Review explanation of benefits (EOBs) and resolve claim discrepancies. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits as needed. Process claim corrections, appeals, and resubmissions. Post insurance and patient payments accurately. Communicate professionally with insurance representatives and patients regarding billing questions. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and billing system. Assist with other revenue cycle duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year of medical billing experience preferred but not required. Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing. Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding is preferred. Experience with electronic health records and practice management software, EClinical Works preferred. Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. We Are Looking for
