Health Reimbursement Program 401(k) matching Employee discounts About Us We are a busy, well-established oral surgery practice seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member to manage our in-house dental billing and claims processing. Our office values efficiency, teamwork, and providing an excellent patient experience. Position Overview This role focuses specifically on dental claims processing and insurance follow-up —no medical billing required. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Submit and track dental insurance claims Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility Follow up on outstanding claims and appeals Post insurance payments and adjustments accurately Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues Work closely with the front office and clinical team to ensure accurate documentation Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental insurance policies and procedures Qualifications Experience with dental billing and claims processing required; Prefer certified CBCS, but not required Strong understanding of dental insurance plans (PPO preferred) Excellent attention to detail and organization skills Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow claims through to completion Experience in an oral surgery or specialty practice is a plus +2 Years experience in Billing, Prefer Dental, but not required. This Role is not a coding position. Schedule & Flexibility 4 days per week (25-34 hours total) Some flexibility in scheduling within business hours This role is ON SITE, in office.
