Accounts Receivables Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist with a strong trucking/logistics background to manage and aggressively pursue outstanding receivables across our trucking, warehousing, and real estate divisions. This role requires someone who understands the real-world challenges of freight billing, including short pays, deductions, detention disputes, and accessorial charges, and is comfortable being on the phone daily driving collections. Key Responsibilities Make daily outbound collection calls on past-due accounts Manage A/R aging and aggressively follow up on 30/60/90+ balances Resolve short pays, chargebacks, and invoice disputes Handle trucking-related billing issues including: +Freight charges +Detention, demurrage, and accessorials +Lumper and fuel charges Coordinate with operations to verify BOLs, PODs, and rate confirmations Collect on warehouse (3PL) invoices (storage, handling, services) Manage rent collections for real estate portfolio Reconcile accounts and document all collection activity Escalate problem accounts and recommend action when needed Requirements 3+ years A/R and collections experience Trucking/logistics industry experience

REQUIRED

Hands-on experience with: Short pays and freight disputes Customer deductions and chargebacks Strong phone presence — not afraid to push for payment Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities Preferred Experience with trucking/warehouse billing Experience with commercial/residential rent collections Familiarity with TMS/WMS or accounting systems What We're Looking For Someone who takes ownership of collections and follows through Comfortable dealing with difficult customers and payment issues Understands the difference between a valid dispute and a delay tactic Compensation Competitive salary based on experience Performance incentives tied to collections
