This role is ideal for a finance specialist with deep experience in revenue analysis, revenue recognition, and the full billing lifecycle. The selected candidate will translate financial data into actionable recommendations, strengthen billing accuracy, and help improve overall revenue performance.
Responsibilities:
Review and manage complex billing transactions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing across the revenue cycle. Analyze revenue activity and recognition patterns to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas requiring corrective action. Perform detailed financial analysis to support billing operations, forecasting, and business decision-making. Investigate billing variances and resolve issues by partnering with finance and operational stakeholders. Build and maintain financial models and ad hoc reports that provide visibility into revenue performance and billing outcomes. Use data analysis techniques to examine large datasets, uncover root causes, and support process improvements. Monitor billing processes for compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards. Prepare clear summaries and reporting on billing metrics, revenue trends, and operational findings for leadership review. 5+ years of experience in billing analysis, financial analysis, or a closely related finance role. Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and end-to-end revenue cycle processes. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data and turn findings into practical recommendations. Hands-on experience with financial modeling, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting. Proficiency in analyzing revenues, billing records, and large data sets with a high level of accuracy. Experience using data mining and analytical techniques to identify trends, exceptions, and performance issues. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills in cross-functional environments. The salary range for this position is $38/hour to $42/hour. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
