Billing Specialist

Ambulance transportation company looking for a detail oriented biller who can handle a fast paced environment.

Duties include:

Ambulance Billing, checking patient insurance, follow up on non payment, ensuring proper documentation for clean claims processing, answering phones, knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other commercial insurances, appointment taking, driving an ambulance in emergency situations and transport of patients, Office skills, phone skills, multi tasking skills required. Opportunity for advancement and continuing education in ambulance billing available for qualified candidates. Prefer previous medical billing, and knowledge of insurances but not required. Must have a clean background check, driving record, and have no infractions with the Office of Inspector General.
