Job Description

JOB DUTIES
Receives Patient Phone calls and completes follow-up calls until questions are resolved Collaborates with the billing vendor Coordinate with medical staff to ensure correct diagnosis and procedure codes are reported on billing Keep current on all billing and benefit changes for third-party insurance carriers Monitor clams for missing information Maintain confidentiality of all information according to HIPAA and company policy Complete work in a timely manner to assure compliance with departmental standards and filing of claims The Account Coordinator assumes other responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Analytical ability to apply criteria and evaluate information to make decisions Strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills in teaming with patients, medical staff, and the public Detail-oriented with proven ability to multitask Computer skills, including MSOffice, Outlook, and Meditech, preferred 10 key knowledge and computer experience, required Ability to move, position self, consistently operate various types of equipment, able to detect/observe/identify details at close or distant range with or without accommodations, as well as exerting up to 20 pounds occasionally, and or 10 pounds of force frequently, or negligible constantly. Walking or standing to a significant degree, or sitting constantly, and pushing/pulling controls
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
