Job Description

Experience:
At least one year's experience in a hospital or physician office setting or similar type of service preferred.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalency preferred Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.
Special Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of the entire billing process. Knowledge of Medicare, Local Medical Review Policy (LMRP), Local Coverage Determination (LCD), and Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) policies. Must be able to work under minimal supervision. Must have basic clerical skills and be familiar with office equipment.
