A/R Billing Analyst 65-75K RARE Harford County Opportunity Legacy Search Advisors has partnered with a fast-growing, well-capitalized construction and project-based services firm that is seeking a detail-oriented A/R Billing Analyst to join its expanding finance team. This organization is experiencing rapid growth and offers strong leadership visibility, process improvement exposure, and long-term career advancement. Position Overview The A/R Billing Analyst will play a key role in managing project billing, accounts receivable, and cash flow processes across multiple active jobs. This individual will partner closely with operations and project teams to ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and resolution of billing discrepancies. This is a high-impact role within a dynamic environment where your work directly supports the company's financial performance and continued growth. Key Responsibilities Prepare and issue accurate client invoices tied to project milestones, contracts, and progress billing Manage accounts receivable portfolio , including payment tracking, collections, and aging analysis Reconcile customer accounts and investigate variances, short pays, and billing discrepancies Collaborate with project managers to validate billing details, change orders, and contract terms Monitor and report on AR aging, cash flow, and outstanding balances Respond to client inquiries and resolve billing issues professionally and efficiently Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy, processes, and systems Qualifications 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or project accounting Construction, contracting, or project-based billing experience strongly preferred Understanding of progress billing, job costing, or contract invoicing is a plus Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting or ERP systems Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally Why This Opportunity Join a fast-growing construction firm with strong financial backing High visibility role with direct business impact Opportunity to help build and improve processes in a scaling environment Competitive compensation + benefits packageBenefits
