+ Commission Job Description We are seeking a Collections Representative to support probate and estate recovery efforts by managing accounts associated with deceased individuals. This role involves conducting outbound calls, researching estate information, locating responsible parties, and establishing payment arrangements while maintaining professionalism and sensitivity in all interactions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable having difficult conversations, managing a high-volume account queue, and working toward collection and productivity goals. Responsibilities
+ Make outbound calls regarding outstanding balances associated with deceased accounts.
+ Maintain and manage an assigned portfolio of accounts.
+ Conduct fact-finding conversations to obtain estate and probate information.
+ Identify estate representatives, attorneys, family contacts, and potential sources of repayment.
+ Establish payment arrangements and communicate payment deadlines.
+ Perform skip tracing activities to locate relevant contacts and information.
+ Accurately document all account activity and collection efforts.
+ Meet daily productivity and collection goals.
+ Follow established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
+ Assist with special projects as needed. QualificationsRequired
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
+ Strong verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-up activities.
+ Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
+ Professional and empathetic approach to sensitive conversations. Preferred + 6+ months of collections experience. + 6+ months of call center experience.
+ Experience with probate, estate recovery, financial services, or healthcare collections.
+ Bilingual Spanish. Work Environment
