Job Description
Duties Experience posting insurance and patient payments accurately into billing systems. Familiarity with EOBs (Explanation of Benefits), ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advice), and payment reconciliation processes. Ability to review payments, adjustments, denials, and patient responsibility amounts for accuracy. Experience balancing daily payment batches and identifying discrepancies. Understanding of contractual adjustments, write-offs, and payer payment methodologies. Ability to research and resolve payment posting variances or unapplied payments. Strong attention to detail and high-volume data entry accuracy.
