Job Description

Job Description Job includes entering service orders, updating accounts from service orders, posting payments, balancing cash drawer, assisting customers with billing questions. Attention to detail, good communication and cooperation essential as will interact extensively with other coworkers and customers to resolve customer service and billing issues. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Preferred two years or more of billing or customer service experience. Ability to work independently within established guidelines. Adaptable to multiple tasks and projects Effective verbal and written communication; Spanish fluency a plus Cash handling and cash drawer balancing procedures. Ability to make mathematical calculations and draw logical conclusions Ability to prioritize work to meet established guidelines Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations Must be able to pass drug screen and background check Must be able to be bonded Primary Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are not intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed. Posting utility payments accurately to customer accounts Daily deposit/cash drawer balancing Process workorders Assists in processing new accounts, commercial accounts and termination requests. Provides information and assistance, over the phone and in person, regarding water bills and the procedure for establishing new accounts and or terminating services. Other duties as assigned or required Maintains regular attendance and punctuality. Works under the supervision of the
