Job Description

Home Life Care is seeking a detail oriented, motivated, and company focused Billing Clerk to join our growing team! As one of North Carolina's largest home care agencies, Home Life Care gives you a unique opportunity to join a leader in the private home care industry. The Billing Clerk is responsible for the performance of the day to day activities necessary to complete the billing process. Billing shall include, but not limited to Timesheet Accuracy, Medicaid, VA, Private Pay, and CAP services.
IMMEDIATE JOB OPENING!
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience in Medicaid billing preferred.
Qualifications:
Must be able to multi-task. Must have great communication skills, be trustworthy, and possess good insight in handling problems. Must be able to lead and teach subordinates effectively in a prompt and positive manner. Employee must possess good time management skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review all time-sheets for billing time accuracy. Prepare all billing documentation and ensure all invoices produced are accurate and submitted timely. Assist in the fulfillment of reports, templates, grids, and other documents that may be needed for informational purposes within management. Ensure compliance is met with all applicable laws and regulations. Work closely with payroll department. Consistently demonstrate the ability to establish and manage priorities. Make best use of work time to complete assignments before deadline. Investigate problems and formulate appropriate solutions. Respect the confidentiality of patient and company information. Ensure that documents and records are properly filed and stored and that company data is secure, in accordance with company and governmental regulations. Recognizes and performs tasks that need to be completed, although not directly assigned. Assist others as needed. Be knowledgeable in billing software procedures and remain current with changes. Ensure all patient information is accurate and current.
