QuickBooks Organizational skills Productivity software Associate's degree Time management Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Analyst to support the daily functions of our finance department. This role is ideal for an organized professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is eager to grow their experience in hospitality accounting. The Accounts Analyst plays an essential role in managing administrative tasks related to accounts payable while also assisting with projects across accounts receivable, general accounting and payroll. This position helps ensure smooth financial operations and provides critical support to the broader finance team. Duties Process check requests and expense reports in a timely manner. Accurately review, code, and process vender invoices weekly. Biweekly payroll for numerous properties. Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements. Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Investigate and resolve discrepancies on invoices. Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliation and analysis of outstanding payables. Audit and process credit card payments. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. Collaborates well with others.
Requirements High School diploma required:
Associated degree in accounting preferred. 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks. Strong organizational skills and time management. Knowledge of basic accounting principles. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong analytical abilities to resolve issues and improve processes.
Pay:
$13.00 - $18.00 per hour
