Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist with Pharmacy experience to join a hospital system based in South Jersey. In this role, you will execute end-to-end retail pharmacy AR workflows within Epic Professional Billing including reconciliation and follow-up. You will monitor work queues within Epic PB and reconcile payer remittances (835). You will also manage denials, investigate and resolve credit balances and coordinate refund requests. From an analytics perspective, you will track and report on trends as it relates to AR and identify/voice gaps in workflow or build-related issues impacting revenue cycle performance. This role is primarily remote but must be relatively local to South Jersey in case of a need onsite.   •  2+ years of experience operating in a Revenue Cycle environment within a Pharmacy group for any healthcare organization
  •  Hands-on experience with pharmacy billing or PBM workflows
  •  Hands-on experience with denials, reconciliation, and prior auth
  •  Hands-on experience with EOBs, claim edits, and payment variances
  •  EMR system exposure (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
  •  Certified Coder o RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or COC
  •  Bachelors Degree
  •  PTCB Billing and Reimbursement Certificate
