Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual (English/Spanish/ Portuguese ) Dental Insurance/Billing Coordinator to join our dental practice. Responsible for verifying insurance, processing claims, patient communication, and ensuring billing compliance. If you're fluent in both languages and customer-focused, apply now!
Key Responsibilities:
Insurance Verification:
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits. Clearly communicate coverage details in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Maintain accurate insurance information.
Billing and Claims:
Prepare and submit insurance claims. Monitor and resolve claims issues. Organize billing records.
Patient Interaction:
Address patient inquiries on insurance, billing, and payments. Explain financial responsibilities and payment plans. Deliver exceptional bilingual customer service.
Financial Coordination:
Coordinate treatment plans with insurance. Calculate co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses. Collect payments and process transactions.
Compliance and Reporting:
Stay updated on insurance regulations. Ensure compliance with documentation standards. Generate and analyze billing reports.
Qualifications:
Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written). High school diploma (associate's degree preferred). Prior dental insurance or billing experience is a plus. Proficiency in practice management software and MS Office. Strong organizational and communication skills. Team player with attention to detail. Knowledge of dental insurance coding is a bonus.
