DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
: Albany ENT & Allergy Services is looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our billing department. You would be responsible for accurate data entry, insurance benefit verification, and exceptional customer service. This role requires an understanding of insurance coding and compliance, accounting and bookkeeping processes, reimbursement, posting, statements, and check requests. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will also post information in QuickBooks and reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy. The ideal candidate will need to be customer service oriented, be an excellent communicator, and a collaborative mindset.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 Coding preferred Customer service skills for interacting with patients regarding medical claims and payments Problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies Excellent attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills. Proficient computer skills including ability to master the clinic's software systems
COMPENSATION
The compensation range for this position is $19.00 to $25.00. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, education, experience, and qualifications.
