Job Description

Overview The mission of Helio Health, Inc.
is:
To promote recovery from the effects of substance use and mental health disorders and other health issues. The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) System Support Specialist is responsible for support activities related to the RCM components of the Electronic Health Record and Billing system, including corrections and maintenance of the Revenue Cycle Management operating environments. This position works under administrative direction and coordinates with the RCM System Administrator and leadership team to plan, organize, and manage the H.I.T. system and related functions and to perform related duties as required. In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive up to $1,500.00!
Pay Range :
$67,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year. Responsibilities Develops a mastery of the organization's
RCM H.I.T.
systems in order to provide ongoing support for all Helio Health, Inc. end-users. Maintains
RCM H.I.T.
system performance through system monitoring and works closely with IT Staff to ensure
RCM H.I.T.
availability and efficient operation. Works with HIT and Program staff to execute corrective changes from colleague error tickets to ensure accurate documentation and billing. Provides Billing, Revenue Cycle Management, and Patient Access Implementation Support by leveraging technology and system review. Provides Billing, Revenue Cycle Management and Patient Access training documentation support Provides Billing system Maintenance when requested, including but not limited to Guarantors, Service fees, Service codes, Billing Templates, and sliding fee table. maintenance, Benefit Plan maintenance, Sliding Fee Table Maintenance. Keeps supervisors informed of any billing concerns added to escalation report Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in health information management, information technology, business administration, data/statistics, or a related field. Equivalent combination of training, education, and/or experience can be substituted for the education requirement. Health Information Technology experience preferred. Understanding of Medicaid and Third-party claim procedures for both paper-based and electronic claims Excellent ability to work effectively with clients, the professional community and coworkers. Must have excellent internal and external customer service skills Must have excellent computer skills with a basic knowledge of health care billing systems Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced work environment and perform under pressure Valid NYS Driver's license required Has an in-depth understanding and knowledge of privacy laws, workflows, policies and procedures, patient care/clinical business obJect1ves, regulatory requirements and industry best practices for patient care/processes.
