Flexible Pay:

$23-$27 per hour , depending on experience Responsibilities Submit and manage insurance claims accurately and timely Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims Review and correct claim edits and rejections Post payments and reconcile accounts Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status Monitor aging reports and assist with collections efforts Maintain accurate patient billing records Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff Preferred Qualifications Experience in medical billing, preferably in physical therapy or outpatient rehabilitation Familiarity with Clinicient EMR and Insight Billing preferred Experience with Waystar (formerly ZirMed) clearinghouse systems preferred Understanding of CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, and therapy-specific billing requirements Knowledge of billing modifiers including GP, KX, 59, XE, XS, XP, XU, CQ, and CO Experience billing a variety of commercial, government, and workers' compensation payers preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and efficiently manage priorities Excellent communication and problem-solving skills What We Offer Flexible scheduling Supportive and collaborative work environment Competitive hourly compensation Convenient location within Timberhill Athletic Club Opportunity to help support exceptional patient care in our community To Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your medical billing experience and familiarity with physical therapy billing systems.
