4-6+ Years About the Opportunity The Billing Manager will ensure accurate and timely billing, oversee accounts receivable and collections , resolve client account issues, and work closely with attorneys, clients, and finance personnel. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily legal billing and accounts receivable operations, including invoice preparation, review, issuance, and follow-up. Monitor outstanding balances, aging reports, collections, billing deadlines, and client account activity . Resolve billing discrepancies, invoice disputes, payment issues, and account concerns. Communicate directly with attorneys, clients, finance personnel, and internal leadership regarding billing matters. Coordinate payment processing, reconciliations, and account resolution. Supervise, train, and develop the billing team. Assign workloads, establish priorities, and ensure timely completion of billing activities. Identify and implement improvements to billing processes, systems, and reporting. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client and financial information. Qualifications 4-6+ years of billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or finance operations experience. 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience. Law firm or legal billing experience strongly preferred. Experience with billing systems, collections, reporting, and client account management. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, senior leadership, and finance teams . Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. CPA is a plus.
