Job Description

Purpose of this position : This position is located in the Fiscal Department of the agency and reports directly to the Billing Supervisor/Fiscal Coordinator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Knowledge of insurance billing/procedures Maintaining and Filing of financial records Knowledge of Microsoft office; principally Excel Research, process and reconcile denied medical claims Prepare and submit clean claims to third parties electronically or by paper Assist with any projects on an as needed basis Children's Service Center/Robinson Counseling Center for adults creates a positive working culture of Care and Commitment for employees which extends to the children & families we serve. Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalency or one year of responsible experience may be substituted for required training course Minimum 2 years experience with health insurance in a medical setting Successful completion of formal training course in typing and general office procedures Knowledge of good English usage and grammar; typing and filing skills; ability to use common office equipment
