Position:
Medicaid Collector (Hospital Revenue Cycle) -
Remote Pay:
$23 - $25 per hour
Job Type:
Contract-to-Hire Location:
Remote (DFW candidates preferred; not eligible for California residents)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Option to start at 7:30 AM)

This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K. About the Opportunity Addison Group is seeking experienced Medicaid Collectors to join our client's growing revenue cycle team. This role is focused on managing complex Medicaid accounts within a hospital setting, specifically supporting inpatient rehabilitation services. We're looking for collectors who can confidently navigate Medicaid billing and reimbursement challenges, identify claim issues, and drive resolution with minimal supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned hospital collector seeking a fully remote position with long-term potential. What You'll Do Manage and resolve high-dollar, aged Medicaid accounts. Research, analyze, and resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies. Review accounts for billing accuracy and reimbursement opportunities. Work approximately 60 accounts per day while maintaining quality standards. Investigate rejected or unpaid claims and determine appropriate corrective action. Ensure claims meet payer requirements and billing guidelines. Identify trends and recurring issues impacting reimbursement. Collaborate with leadership and team members to resolve complex account issues. Maintain detailed account documentation and follow-up actions.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 3 years of Medicaid collections experience . Recent hospital revenue cycle experience required. Strong background in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, long-term care, or hospital billing environments. Deep understanding of Medicaid reimbursement processes. Ability to explain the full lifecycle of a Medicaid claim from billing through resolution. Experience reviewing denials, payment variances, and reimbursement issues.
