Medical Collections Representative

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Medical Collections Representative to join our organization. In this position you will be responsible for contacting patients on outstanding balances. Duties will include but are not limited to: Manage aging reports to identify patients with past due balances. Contact patients with unpaid or overdue balances using clear communication and professional persistence. Answer inbound calls from patients. Address patients inquiries and concerns in relation to their accounts. Maintain detailed records of all collection activities, correspondence, and payment agreements in a concise and accurate manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years of direct and related collections experience in a healthcare or medical device company. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and empathetically. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly build effective and lasting customer relationships. Ability to prioritize, organize, and exercise independent judgement while managing multiple accounts efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and other medical collections software. •Salary compensation is based on experience•
