Pay:

$24-$27 per hour (based on experience) About Us We are a busy, well-established oral surgery practice seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member to manage our in-house dental billing and claims processing. Position Overview This role focuses specifically on dental claims processing and insurance follow-up —no medical billing required. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Submit and track dental insurance claims Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility Follow up on outstanding claims and appeals Post insurance payments and adjustments accurately Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues Work closely with the front office and clinical team to ensure accurate documentation Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental insurance policies and procedures Qualifications Experience with dental billing and claims processing required; CDBS preferred, but not required Strong understanding of dental insurance plans (PPO preferred) Excellent attention to detail and organization skills Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow claims through to completion Experience in an oral surgery or specialty practice is a plus +2 years' experience in billing & coding role, preferably dental Schedule & Flexibility 4 days per week (25-34 hours total) Some flexibility in scheduling within business hours What We Offer Competitive hourly pay ($24-$27 DOE) Supportive, team-oriented work environment Consistent weekly schedule with flexibility Opportunity to grow within a specialty practice 401 K Match Program when Qualified Health Reimbursement Program Staff/Family Discounts on treatment
