General Summary Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for the daily audit review of accounts payable entries, notifies AP Processors of the corrective action needed. Audit review of weekly check runs. TIN matching and review of new vendor set up in accordance with IRS guidelines. Assist in the review and compiling of all AP Metric Reports and Escheatment Reporting. Principle Duties & Responsibilities Reviews daily invoice entry for invoice accuracy, accurate account coding, DOA approvals, accurate sales and use tax reporting etc. and notifies AP Processors of corrections needed. Report monthly error ratio to AP Manager. Review of weekly preliminary check run reports for possible holds, items blocked for payment and notifies processors of needed correction. Reviews vendor set up request to verify accurate W-9 information validation with IRS TIN matching. Assist with yearly 1099 reporting and any B-notice reconciliation. Assist AP Manager in compiling data for AP Metrics. Detail-oriented and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in a high-paced environment. Other duties assigned by the Manager Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or business related field preferred. CAPA Certification in Accounts Payables desired. Minimum of 2 years of experience in A/P. Communication skills are fundamental (both written and verbal). Strong Sales & Use Tax, 1099 and Escheatment Reporting. Strong motivation, work ethic, organizational and time management skills. Working Conditions Fast-paced general office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity. Domestic and international travel is possible on occasion.

$26.00 - $29.00 per hour
